Cayuga Lake in Winter
Cayuga Lake is the longest of central New York's glacial Finger Lakes. The city of Ithaca's Stewart Park is located at the southern end. Every winter this end of the lake freezes and becomes the stomping ground for Canada geese, gulls and mallard ducks. This poster features the expanded icy shore with ducks, gulls and geese, the lovely blue green water, and the colorful houses along the shoreline at the foot of the eastern hills along the lake.
