This magnet features a female cardinal in the snow. The cardinals live here in upstate New York all year round and grace our trees and feeders with their beauty and song. Now, in mid-summer, they are bringing their young around to eat our seed and learn the ropes.

This magnet features the black-capped chickadee, one of the friendliest and most common birds in my part of upstate New York. The flock lives here all year round and are quite tame. They follow me around and eat walnut bits out of my hand. They have two wonderful songs: "chicka-dee-dee-dee" and a simple 2 note whistle that starts with a high whistle and ends with a low whistle, sometimes described as "hey sweetie" or "fee bee".
