This brilliantly colored poster features the Northern Cardinal family. On the left is the golden brown female with her orange beak. In the middle is the golden brown juvenile just beginning to turn red. The beak is a dull brown. On the right is the gorgeous scarlet red male with a darker orange beak outlined with black feathers. He is looking a little scruffy because he is growing in new feathers for the winter.
